Our Approach

Child protection and youth empowerment are BAO's main programmatic areas. Both in Humanitarian Response and Developing setting the organization works in various program to safeguard the best interest of a child through Centre and Community-based interventions.

This area is done through co-creation model where various stakeholders and beneficiaries are involved in identifying Child Protection issues of concern and design the response. To realize this interest BAO works with Faith Based Organizations, Government Ministries and departments, Parents, guardians such as school teachers and established children shelter.

Programs and Collaborations

Programs such as parenting, promotion of ethical values and providing Psychosocial support to the most vulnerable communities are done through collaborations and partnerships.

Our Impact

We have successfully provided safe spaces, psychosocial support, and nurturing care for refugee children while strengthening parenting capacity in various communities across Tanzania.
